Fox has announced a new show coming shortly called "Hot Pursuits" or
something, to show you how the coppers always get their supects, even it it
    kills them, or you.

Oh dear, that was just too topical for me. All the local coppers will be
    vying to get on it.

"High Speed Pursuits" Friday at 9:30 pm and repeated Saturday at various
times. Also "Secrets of Police Pursuits" at 5:30 pm Saturdays. All on the CI
    channel, 617.

Do the pursued spin out and die 45 seconds after the whole thing is
    called off ?

The interests of "entertainment" will require the 'pursuer' to be in the
camera shot, pointing a loaded weapon at the deceased, or still dying, 16
year old, while a voice-over (probably Stojanovic) will deliver a moral for
    the parents to remember.

If only they showed the real "thung "

Last time I was on the west coast of the U.S standing on outside the

unit we could hear occasional random semi and full auto gunfire

(some distance away but sound travels in the jungle)

so I should think it doesnt all go the blue shirts way

If it's anything like "Cops", it'll be a very biased view because the
footage is supplied by the police, so they'll never show the ones that
get away, or show the police involved in any sort of wrongdoing.

I remember them showing some heinous criminal they nabbed for stopping by
the roadside for a leak, when they knew there was a servo only 10 miles
ahead. Apparently it's legal provides you piss on the kerbside front wheel,
but this criminal was pissing on the back wheel. Some people just have no
    respect for the law.

Didn't they know that pissing in the bush is more environmentally friendly
than using the servo facilities. Cue Gerry.

We should suggest an alternative show with all footage supplied by the
runners... It could be called "Hot Runs" or such...

Hmmm, think there's any money in that?

Last I heard we still have the death sentence for Treason and Piracy.
Stealing a tonne of crap on four wheels wasn't on the list. If a judge can't
hang you for the offence, a policeman shouldn't try to kill you either.

You've got a really strange attitude for a copper mate. What next? Are you
going to shoot people for parking badly?

Now that is a progressive idea, poor parking is indicitive of a careless
attitude to driving. A real danger to us all.

Well, I don't feel sorry for him.

I do feel some concern for the innocent bystanders who could get killed
or injured...that includes the chasing cops...even the dopey kids riding

I'm still not convinced that the Muslims don't have a point with Sharia Law.

innocent bystanders get killed without the police chasing and prolly more
