Well hell yea!!!!! I did the same yesterday myself. When I rode home
from Louies, I thought I was on a new bike. I was skeered I was going
to burn up my clutch using them new levers so much on the way home. I
was riding down I-20 doing about 80 trying to stay away from Big Ed
and I was pulling that clutch lever every mile or so. That engine
would wind way up but I didnt figure it would hurt it.

Everyone should get those levers on there bikes quick. I rate that Mod
right up there with that CB Radio and those Alpine speakers I put in
    last week.

I don't know, I think they rate just behind my CB install.

  6. Nope, that there's bugs, Redshad. That photo was taken during this
trip, near the North West Territories border:

This picture was me, stopping every 10 minutes to clean my goggles so
    that I could see:

I haven't been to Texas since I was about 10, but I'm sure you get
lots of bugs in too. Still, I suspect it's not near what we sometimes
get in the North Country. Up there you have muskeg and standing water
everywhere; great breeding grounds for bugs.

The time during which those pictures were taken was
uncharacteristically bad though. Must have been a hatch occurring.

    <grumpy old man>
REAL Gold Wings don't have chrome levers, they are black like they are
    supposed to be! hmmph.

The Goldwing did have black skinny levers. I just thought that the
wide chrome ones would look nice on there with all the other chrome
thats on the bike. I have wanted some of those wide levers every since
I rode Big Eds bike. They just seemed more cool-ish. The original
black ones are still in fine working order. I think they added 3 more
    HP also.

hmmm, I've changed something so it would look cooler. I don't do the
"it looks cool thing" either it is or it isn't cool.

    The original
You do realize the last one true Goldwing was built in 1984 and only
had about 1200 of screaming power. ;^) That's the last year the naked
    wing was produced.

  11. 7. Say what you want and do what you want because those who mind
don't matter and those who matter won't mind.

You aren't part of the cul^H^H^H club you wouldn't understand what an
abomination it was when HONDA (may Sochiro Honda be venerated by
all...ahhmen) courrupted the Goldwing with bodywork inspired the evyl
one known by some as "Craig Vetter". His changes are an abomination to
the faith^H^H^H^H^H club members. It's ugly, it's vile and surely
those who covet a corrupted Goldwing will suffer the pains and anguish
    of the eternal boneyard.

Anyway there hasn't been single fairing or saddlebag or trunk on
Goldwing that wasn't hideous in the eyes of the faith^H^H^H^H^H club
members of the One True Goldwing (Orthodox).

    AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN..

But that's just my biased view point as a deacon. ;^)

BULL! BTDT and trust me you is tawkin' out yo' hat cousin.
    Well it's given that it's a lie...he's a politician and his lips
    moved.
Not mine I use waterproof mascara as far as you know. Unless I need to
    be a drama king.
Then I think we all are suffering from it! When does the revolutions
start? Who's bring the beer and brisket?
    Why? It's hoot!

That? THAT? Tha's some dweeb with a little dick and no taste...ewww.

This is how you do it...this guy also build a better blower setup than
    your tiny example. ;^)

I'll probally get his front brake set up eventually...build the brakes
and suspension THEN think about more power. You gotta slow down to go
    fast.

Yes indeedy. 8^) The dual dual weber set up is nice but I like my
stuff innocuous. Maybe someday I'll get off my butt and convert to FI
with a megasquirt brain box just not sure HOW I want to do the TB/
injector setup. Maybe use a set of old carb's for the TB's. ;^) But
I'm crazy and smart enough to not try doing it.

p.s. Ever notice how the new Guzzi V7 and GL1000's are similar but
different? Both looks sweet in white.
