Passed it with 34 out of 35. Failed on the 'breakdown in a tunnel'
question. How many bikes have hazard warning flashers, anyway? Bloody
    silly.

    TOG@toil,, wibbled:
    33/35 - never had a bike with indicators - daft question - I also
thought the min tread depth was more that 1mm

    35/35.

And while we're at it, 63/75 on the hazard perception. Would have done
better but the software decided that I was cheating on one of the
videos, and gave me a nice fat zero.

I still managed to have a motorcycle / grass verge interface issue
(AKA coming off) recently, so I s'pose it's all academic...

I agree but the hazard warning lights seemed to be the safest answer. 35/35

We are preparing now for the new practical test.

On mopeds it's just visible tread over 75% of the tyre's radius.

When I did both my car and bike tests I found a couple of questions
that had more than one logical answer, so I just thought "how would a
safety nazi answer this?" and got full marks on both tests.

For one, I hope the new test weeds out the idiots without needing
    questions like:

"What is the right hand lane used for on a Motorway:

    A) Normal driving
    B) Overtaking
    C) Speeding
    D) Turning right"

I know at least one motorway that has an exit on the RHS, so (b) and (d) are
both possible and (a) and (c) are the same thing, so I'm going got (e) all
    of the above

    Where's that then?
Now think like you're a Brake! "charity" hand-wringer to get your
    answer. Works every time.

I agree, some of the question are a bit strange.

In the new practical test there is a swerving manoeuvre.

Got two 'wrong'. I shouldn't give way to pedestrians waiting to cross
on a flashing amber at a pelican crossing, and I don't need to change
tyres at 1.6mm, but can wait until 1mm.

Glad to see the questions are just as sensible as ever. Not.
