    I had the same problem with my Ten, on the Elfant run.

    SOP was to put it on the sidestand and sort of sideways-slide off the
    seat.

    I've got to say I'm looking hard at that new Triumph 800 Tiger. Chop in
    the Street Triple, flog the K and the Duke, and condense the stable to
    the one bike. I haven't ridden the Trip, Duke or BMW for a month.

    It would've been the other way round if Triumph took any notice of
    their customers. Tiger owners have been screaming for such a beast for
    at least a decade. Unfortunately they decided to ignore us & build that
    useless attempt at an off-road styled thing that nobody bought.
