My girlfriend - who incidentally walked out on me at 6am this morning,
the fucker - is just one such lawyer. She's a civil litigation lawyer
working in fraud, so essentially all her fees are paid from the
proceeds of large-scale fraud. Her company defended Maxwell, for
    example... Anyway, double-bitch.

Well the SS and Mussolini's black shirts certainly looked good. Good
that is until they had been immersed and frozen in the muds of the
    Russian Front.

Actually I thought it was Bill Hicks, but I have read a few TS books. Maybe
that's where I got it from.

The editor of GQ or FHM or something similar got into trouble a few years
back, ISTR, for running an article about why the bad guys are always so
stylish. It was including the SS as fashion icons that seemed to cause the
    most problems....

  17. The Divil has all the best tunes, as ye know, Mr McGonagle.

I think his phrase was along the lines that "The SS were cool". Thus
rendering *him* a **** for not putting it better.

Actually no it was quite different. He suggested that Rommel was one of
the century's 100 best dressed men it seems.

  20. Given that Rommel was a decent soldier, and hardly popular with Fred 'itler,
I can't quite see why said editor got slammed. Does no one read proper
    history any more?
