  2. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Bear
The Sainted Dave Corden has interesting observations to make on this
whole matter. One that interested me was his advice that queue-hopping
overtakes that need you to slot back in should be done in such a manner
(and such a gear) that you can slide back into the queue *without using
brakes*. By being in the right gear and shutting off as you come
alongside the bloke you're going to slot-in in front of, it's very
    do-able.

Dave's thinking (and I concur) is that if you arrive in front of someone
with brake lights blazing, they're going to brake too, and be
pissed-off. Slide in well-lubed (as it were) and they'll hardly notice.

And I now realise I'm contributing to the snore-fest.

And so are you. I blame you.

I have already made the greatest contribution to the fight against climate
change that I can make: I have decided not to breed. Now quit bugging me and
go and talk to the Catholics.

I'm sorry, I clearly failed to communicate the heavy
level of sarcasm intended. The bloke is as dull as
dishwater and still incapable of using a sig. sep.
If only. Bring on the daisy cutters, that might liven
    it up a bit.

Yeah, but that's beause you're a bit of a DQ, whereas
everyone knows I'm reasonable, measured and always right.

It was a long, slow process, mostly involing me making *every*
wrong decision possible, previously. When faced with a descision,
I simply consider my past responses and choose the single remaining
option I have yet to try. Voila! Fucking infallible, I tell you.

    Now you are being silly.
A GS500 might be a bit slow by some standards, but it is not that slow.

Ah, well, you see, I made an executive decision a while back.
Entitled "Don't sweat the small stuff". Obviously, using my own
discretion I can classify, pretty much anything as small stuff
and therefore below the exacting demands of the correctness test.

I still feel sorry for the bloke in the Murcielago at the weekend.

Shortly after I got the GSXR I had a similar thing with a bloke in a
    M-Coupe.

He looked a bit miffed when his speed limiter kicked in.

Ha. I had that on the A41 riding to meet Adie for a FOT the weekend
before. It was around the point I started to really leave him behind
that I remembered it was pissing with rain and I'm fucking idiot.
