That's being done tomorrow. Currently soaking in 3-in-1 and Redex. Will get a heat gun on the barrel tomorrow and try and free it off. There's an MZ dealer up the road who reckons he'll have a spanner in stock for the exhaust header, so I'll pop up there in the morning. It seems oily enough for it not to be oil starvation (unless there was an airlock in the system) - more likely that it overheated massively.
SteveH says... Lesson learnt then, don't leave aircooled strokers ticking over at a standstill for any length of time. If the 3-in-1 and Redex doesn't work then pour cheapo cola on top of the piston and let it seep down the sides. It eats away at the melted alloy and frees the piston off, usually overnight.
That's a nice trick. I've only ever had one seized two stroke, and that feed off after cooling[1]. Switched to R40 after that, and cable tied the oil feed on. [1]Oil feed pipe fell off the inlet, I think someone pulled it off to cause it dammage.
