If hypothetically you'd been slightly slack in updating the details on
your vehicle, and since moving a short time ago you'd lost access to the
now empty property you used to live in.

Should you realise a week or so after the fact that when you'd followed
your satnav like a total tit you'd been down a one way street
'backwards', if you will, how would you find out if you'd been NIPed?

Who does one ring and how would you phrase a question like 'Did you miss
me being a bit silly?' without shopping one's self?

If the nip existed, one wouldn't want to ignore it.

I've never come across any cameras that'd send you a NIP for doing that.
Red light or speed, yes. Not enough people go the wrong way down one-ways
to get a return on investment.

That wasn't you driving down (the wrong way) a one way street in Saffron
    Walden the other evening, perchance?
A very nice looking lass did the very thing only last week?

I don't think there's an NIP for that is that? Certainly not issued from a
static camera, and if a copper 'on the beat' wanted to book you for it,
they'd have had to do it there and then surely, same as if they were nabbing
you for speeding having followed you I'd have thought - ICBW though, I'm
sure someone wot knows will be along soon.

I know some one who was done for exactly that, by that method, in
Euston recently. It's very common in London these days.

I was with an MP (who shall remain nameless) who was royally pissed off
as he/she produced the penalty notice for something similar.

They don't have to stop you to issue a NIP - unfortunately I know this to
    be a fact.

My business partner was photographed and nicked for precisely this a
    few months ago.
