This is a myth. You might want to google Pugwash and Victor Lewis-Smith
    to see what happened.

I'm afraid it's the tight trousers and billowy shirt, not the
    repartee.

Less talk, more action, as it it were.

I'm not sure I've seen it all the way through, but as I haven't rushed
to find out, I guess you're not alone.
Just Fargo for me, but only since I met an Icelandic tour guide who
was the absolute spit of Marge Gunderson. "I'm just trying to do my
    job here."

That's been on three or four times of late. Excellent film.

"Those sireens, they turned Pete into a TOAD"?

Even Tom Arnold is good in it.

Superb - particularly for the music. We saw Alison Krauss and Union
Station at the Sage last year. Dan Tyminski did "Man of Constant
Sorrow" (his is George Clooney's voice in the film) and they finished
huddled round a single mike singing "Down to the River to Pray" (which
    Alison did in the film).

  11. Yep. Saw it first about two years ago and again a couple of months back.
It's one of the very few films I'd bother to watch a third time (after a
    suitable memory-lapsing period, of course).
