  1. Force9 this afternoon. The Mamas and the Papas, California Dreamin', all
    that sort of stuff.

Hard to get pissed off about paying 45p a minute to listen to it, it is.
I'll give those guys their due the are good at handling us punters.

I make a point of telling them if I find the music nice and relaxing. I
am inclined to add that I would prefer not to have to listen to it at
all but I am all in favour of credit where credit is due.

I haven't heard any carols yet but I can only see it as a good reason
not to use the phone for the next three weeks.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, steve auvache
A couple of years back I phoned my company's San Diego office, and was
put on hold whilst they found a support bloke.

To the strains of "Who's Sorry Now?".

    That got changed, sharpish.

Some of the notes my throat has got can get down far enough to give a
passable rendition of that. It is spoilt a bit though by the handful
that cannot make the trip and those that do but go to the wrong
    destination.
