    Here's my first nomination

I saw a classic, never ridden CB1100 and some new GS500Fs in the same bike
store today. The Suzuki almost looked like it was the same vintage as the
CB1100. Looks like they put the apprentice designers to work on this model
and they were allowed to borrow the front headlight design from their
    mentors.

Digs aside I guess my my complaint is the ugly side fairing on the GS500F
which the GS500 doesn't suffer from. The SV1000(?) looks pretty tidy with a
    side fairing however.

It'd look allright if it wasn't for that hideous headlight. As for dated
well it's all in the eye I expect.

My nomination for dated would be this one:

Not that it's necessarily a bad thing though as I find most modern bikes pig
    ugly.

How much were they asking for the 11?
Was it the CB1100F or the more desirable R?

If we're talking about Asthetics I'd sign up the new ZX10R and R1.

I'm not sure whether it was an F or an R but it's not for sale. It's in
immaculate condition, possibly never ridden before. I'll have a check next
time I'm in there and get back to you about which type it is.

Or perhaps the most dated engine as well. They've been using that thing in
various guises since the late 70's. I think a little massage of the donk
could pull the GS500 up into something a few more people would want to buy.
As it is, they're a bit gutless (hence on the LAMS).
