Woo and may I say hoo

I haven't worn a non Arai helmet since the mid eighties IIRC. I always
liked the comfort, build, visor system, name etc. and an RX7 and a Giga
have done very well by me in spills. Been wearing an RV this past couple
    of years.

Recently I read about the HQ-1 as it's branded in the UK. Happened to
see it in Geoff Kernahans Belfast shop today. As soon as I tried it on I
knew it was right. Very comfortable. Incredibly close fit. Lovely visor
system, non fog. Wonderfully light and it looks Spanking Gorgeous.

5 minutes of haggling with the old tightwad and Bob's your cross
    dressing Auntie.

I've seen those, they're quite striking looking.

I hear that the importers are retailing them at cost, around £230 to
    £250.

It was in at £230, he came down to £200 which he reckoned was under cost
as I've had a bucket of stuff from him recently.

Very nice, but 1424 grams is hardly "Super-Lightweight". My glass fibre
    Uvex is only 1250.

My Nitro N1410-VX is 89 quid in metallic black[1] and weighs 1350
grammes. It got a good write up in Bike Magazine this month.

    [1] 99 quid in graphics.

N1430-VX, if you don't mind, although the difference is minimal. I
showed George the magazine article, he was very happy.

I stand corrected. Mine is actually a 1400, but has the same basic
shell as the 1410 and 1420, and also the 1430 as featured in Bike.

I tried a couple of Nitros at the NEC but I don't have a Nitro shaped
head. Bloody uncomfortable they were. Light, though.

Don't worry, we have a selection of hammers which we can use to adjust
the shape of your head to fit. Customer satisfaction at all times.

This one is labeled 1300gms. I also liked the amazing finish quality
    and the fit
