After 13 years of driving I've got my first puncture and had to change
    a wheel.

Ginge, looks like I drove back from Scotland with it flat. Run-flat
    tyres are great.

    You, lucky, lucky bastard.

    I've been driving/riding for 27 years. I've probably had about 13
punctures, including tyres with sidewall damage due to potholes etc. I had
one year in the mid 90s, when I had 4 punctures just on bikes.

You city boys have it cushy...
Aren't they just. I went over something that made several lacerations in a
very worn tyre. I whacked a tin of Finnlec in which sealed most of the
leaks. I pumped the tyre up but it would only hold about 15psi. Rode the 60
miles home without issue, except cornering was a bit on the vague side.

This is the first car one, I've had two bikes ones before. A front
that I found flat in the garage and a rear that went down while I was
    riding. Both on my FZR400.

car-wise, I've had 2 punctures in 23 years of driving.

Bike wise, 3 in 11 years. However, two of these were on the same day,
on the same bike, requiring the purchase of two brand new Dunlop
Sportmax rears - my wallet took a bit of a beating that day.
