Not for the faint hearted - when motorcycles and electricity poles argue

I'm serious - this is NOT for the faint of heart.

When things go bad riding a motorocycle with inadequate safety gear.
Don't know if it's real or a mock-up - but it's not for the squeamish!

Sorry it's only a powerpoint file - you can download a viewer from M$
if you don't have the program itself.

From what i'm reading here, it's the pics of a guy who was wearing
shorts & t-shirt, was riding a KTM motard & was torn in 2 when he
wrapped himself around a pole. If that's the one, I saw it about 4mths
ago, And not in a hurry to see it again.
Saying it's not for the squeamish is an understatement! I recon it's
bad enough to put some people off riding motorbikes!

Coz let's face it; had he been wearing leathers he would've walked away
    with hardly a scratch.....

Funny how people always talk about being put off perceived dangerous
passtimes by the bad stories yet noone seems to get put off driving
their safe cars (or Taragos) despite the daily "yet another road
fatality, probably due to speeding" news stories.

People who think enough about their riding to wear leathers are unlikely to
do anything so stupid as to result in dismemberment.

There might actually be more logic to it than appears - the Hurt study found
that riders who wear helmets are involved in fewer accidents than those who
don't. Seems they have a "safer" approach??

    Cheers
