  1. .... bike that is. No bikes on the road yesterday, when Joe and I went
to Abilene. The forcaster predicted 50 mph gusts and by-golly, 58 mph
winds were reported in Abilene, 59 mph here in Breckenridge and I
think we may have had at least one, that was over 60 mph. The wind
was bad enough but Odessa and El Paso came through here and decided to
    stay a while.
No, we didn't ride, we took the truck. I had an appointment at
Hendricks Hosp., then we stopped in at Lowe's and picked up some 10
ft. 2x6s. When we got home, Joe made me a nice set of steps. I
helped. I held the lumber and kept it from blowing away.

Today looks like the makings of a fine day to ride. Tomorrow evening
we may have thunderstorms. T'is Spring. Watch out for Newbies.

Have a safe and happy Easter,
    Sunny

  3. It wasn't bad, just an MRI... noisy as all get-out.
As for Easter, looks like we're in for a bumpy ride (80% chance of
    thunderstorms Sat. PM -Sun. AM).
I saw where Mena, AR got hit by twisters. Bad deal. One year ago
yesterday, a tornado hit here. Just missed our place by about 300
    yards, or less.

    Y'all stay safe.

=I recall the tornado that hit your area last year. Yes, there were
numerous tornados above and below us here in Tkana, last Thursday
evening.. One hit downtown Shreveport too.
Not a lotta damage, but enough to cost the insurance companies, a lot,
I'm sure. Yeah, there was some fatalities up there in Mena area....
