"Newly arrived from The Netherlands, little Theo was fascinated by the
strange animals and especially wanted to see the Kangaroos and Emus up
    close..."

"...it was a fascination he would never outgrow, and Theo went to any
lengths to achieve communion with these exotic creatures."

A story related to me today by a colleague who recalled an incident in
    the 70's.

The local fire chief, a mason (impolitely referred to then and now, as
goatfuckers), had one of the hydraulic platform trucks out with it's
crew, to wash down the facade of the local masonic temple.

The firie in the cage, a catholic, radioed down to the Chief "Hey Chief!
There's a lot of goat droppings up here on this ledge. You want me to
    wash it off?"

The chief radioed back, "No, leave it. We gather it up and sell it to
    you catholics as rosary beads..."

    Score one for the chief.

I think I made a reasonable impact on the 'roo that I cannoned off near
    Guyra.
The hot muffler whopped him fair up the date as I slewed sideways into
    him(her?).
He wasn't there when I turned around and I've had 450km +1 year of "****
that was close..." so I reckon that even with the cauterised bung-hole he's
    had the lesser impact!

  16. My place at South Arm was just over the road from an emu farm. They
are quite tasty you know. Try a little revenge.

And emu oil is an excellent and therapeutic moisturiser with magical

Do you think we're a long way from farming humans? (sorry about going
OT - it's a rhetorical question, no need to reply)
