not so obscure objects of desire (long-ish, and probably boring)

    Yes, but in a package that didn't vibrate you off the bike and/or fall
    apart without a moment's notice. It was a great example of how smooth
    you can make a twin with judicious use of balance shafts.

    Yes to both. My first bike was when I was 17 (a step-through that all 3
    of my brothers had used and abused) and I've had them on and off ever
    since. I don't really get turned on by them (or anything mechanical for
    that matter) and I've never really seen them as anything other than an
    enjoyable way to get around.

    I *do* remember despising the Superdreams and wanting a go on my oldest
    brothers Kwak triple but that's about it..
