NSW: Help needed

To provide funding for the MCC of NSW, we need your time and energy.

Your support is essential to continue programs and initiatives run by
the MCC of NSW. Without the money raised by this contract then the
advertising, the lobbying, the presence and papers at road safety
conferences that give us reputation with councils and governments,
pretty much any of the work done by the MCC simply wouldn't happen.


What: Bathurst V8 car races
When: Sat Sep 29 8am - Sat Oct 6 8am
- we need people all week. If you can only make a day or two that's
fine! I expect to be there most of the week and would be happy for
some aus.moto company.

Description
Volunteers required to escort campers to their sites for the dates of
29th Sept to 6th October.

Free camping area (bring your own tent)

Tea, coffee, milk and sugar supplied.

Hot plates, toasters, sandwich makers and urn supplied, plus 1 shirt
and cap also you get $50 per day meal allowance.

You'll be working in groups, everyone will get heaps of help on what
to do and how. You get to ride ATVs and tell car drivers what to do.
And you get time to watch some racing, sit about and chat, and ride around
(although not on the track).

Living in Bathurst this is a natural for me, but I regularly find myself
working seven days a week so this sort of thing is difficult.

Do you normally contact member clubs about stuff like this? I can pass on
the contact to the Bathurst Ulysses Group newsletter editor if you like,
might be a body or two to be found there.

Lots of guys at work ride - and work shift work with slabs of mid-week
time off - so I'll chuck a poster up in the lunch room.

The delegates should take it back to their clubs, I don't know how
Ulysses manages that.
