(I think there is a legal distinction between "hire car*" and "rental
car" under the meaning of the act - ie one gets to travel in the special
lane on the bridge and one doesn't)

I can still remember the student nurse attempting to take a blood sample
when I was 16 punching straight through the vein and my arm swelled up

Nice weather we're having Hammo ! Mum told me it was minus 8 at her
place earlier in the week, but I told her Hammo said you couldn't trust
the thermometer to be accurate and she said to tell you that it was cold
and you were to trust her on that.

Nope, doesn't ride, and has been a member of the CWA. You'll be wearing
a hand knitted jumper and getting rapped on the knuckles if you're too
cheeky. She had 7 brothers in an Irish family, I can assure you, you
don't want to be getting too smart !

Oh christ I don't know, cricket's the only game I find more boring than
golf to watch.
