NSW: Two days supply

  1. I've made an appointment in the city for 10am on Sat, so who else is
    going to donate?

BLOOD SHED IS A LIFE GAINED

The NSW blood supply is critically low and we need your help! In
March the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) experienced an
11.9% decline in donations and this downward trend has continued well
    into April.

The state is currently running on a two-day supply and many
non-critical cases are being denied treatment because there simply isn't
enough blood to go around. Donor Centre closures on the ANZAC Day public
holiday will only result in further strain being put on our already
    limited blood supply.

To help combat this, the ARCBS is calling on all eligible donors to
make an appointment to donate blood in the coming week(s). The Liverpool
Donor Centre will also be specially opening for all donors on:

    Saturday 23rd April from 8am - 2pm

In the spirit of ANZAC Day be a mate and help out a fellow
Australian by rolling up your sleeve and donating 470mls of your best
red. You won't regret knowing that a few hours of your time has given
    someone a lifetime.

I'm booked in at Canberra, but the last 3 times I've been due the
donations book has been full 2 weeks in advance. Maybe I should be
    going to Queanbeyan?
