My usual Manx GP mate suspects are talking about mounting a raid on the
    NW200 next year.

    Anyone else ?

Best place to find digs ?

My housemate and I will be there with a bunch of other local lunatics.
Naturally I shall be taking a ferry from anywhere but North fucking
    Wales.

    We're camping.
We're making a week of it, probably taking in the republic as well.
I can start on it in the new year. I still haven't found a wiring loom
    yet though.

After, I've been working on yours this week. Need to find someone to
machine the slots in those blanking plates I made, but no-one local
wants to do it. I have the new fork seals waiting to go in once those
    are finished.

If that's all that needs doing to complete it I'll come and collect
them then post them to Kendal and get someone in our workshop to do
them. It's only a couple of slots and tbh if I have to I'll put them
    in with an angle grinder.

I'll stick them through your letterbox this afternoon then. It'd be
handy if you could sort that because I'm having no luck here and don't
want to **** them up trying to do it with a Dremel

Can you machine two 5mm deep slots about 20mm long into two 10mm thick
aluminium plates... please? I didn't think you had the kit to do that.

You haven't even mentioned it to me.

If folk are prepared to ride up from Holywood area I can probably
accomodate around 8 in comfort in two apartments.

Holywood isn't that far a ride, certanly no more than an hour or so. I
may well give that some thought, for me on my own, obviously.

    Cheers

The trip is just a possibility at the moment. Apparently two of the
gang are staying in a fellow Triumph enthusiast's caravan somewhere on
the way up (they are crossing from Holyhead).

SWMBO has a relative in Hillsborough, so that's a remote possibility.

Unless I am actually redundant by then it will be just a Thursday to
    Sunday/Monday jaunt for me.

She flies. You ride over from Holyhead.

Remember the M-Way from Dublin to Newry is the finest top speed proving
    ground in Europe.
