NW200

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Dave Milligan, Mar 30, 2005.

  1. Anyone here going to the the NW200.

A couple of mates and I will be there from Australia with our bikes
which we've shipped over to Felixstowe.

Unloading on 12/05/05 (if the ships on time) and toddling off to
Holyhead on Mon 16 and catching ferry to Dun Loaghaire on Tue 17
(0855 probably) then riding up to Port Rush to camp out.

Anyone like to join us. Would like to meet a few Poms from this neck
of the woods for a few ales and a piss taking session.

    We're on a ZRX1200S, a Harley, a VTR SP1, an R1100GS and a Thunderbird
    Legend.

    Kind regards

Living in Belfast I nearly said yes.....then I noticed the reference to
    Harley Davidson.

  3. No, shipping our own bikes over is miles cheaper.

Hire cost for a ZRX for 10 days is about what the return shipping has
cost and we'll be in the UK/IoM/Ireland (and some are going across to
    Europe) for 9 weeks.

Some of the bikes going over are staying permanently so we have 4
spaces available on the return journey if anyone here is interested.

    Kind regards
