They have started me on something called topiramate to try and cut down
the number of migraines (and cut down the amount of codeine-based stuff
I'm taking to control them). Hopefully it'll work as have 2-3 a week is
starting to get old very very fast.

It's the train coming down the tunnel.

jeez - my sympathies. I get two types - hormone and stress - although
they're always the same - nausea, inability to focus, skull-crushing
pain, and (if my parents ring) sounding like I'm drunk. The hormone
ones I killed off for a while with depoprovera, but they won't let me
stay on it, so looks like I'm back to four days of it every 21-24
days.

Cunts won't listen when I tell them taking it all out is the best
cure.

The best cop show - probably one of the best drama series - ever.
Never lost its way and despite establishing and following a succesful
formula, it always managed to pull something out of the hat to prevent
itself from falling into the trap of becoming 'formulaic'.
Interrogation scenes with an incandescent Sipowicz were always
something to behold. My DVD collection is building - slowly. It has
taken 'them' (whoever they might be) two years to release series 1 -
4, so let's hope they up the pace and release series 5 onwards at more
respectable intervals.

Oh, I could probably establish a tenuous link between the head and
torso protection necessary to enable a skel to laugh at Sipowicz's
threats, but that would be disrespectful.

I did email and ask if it would be reshown from the start. They didn't
answer that but said that More4 would be re-running series ten on
weeknights from Monday 19th.

Pleasure. I really hope they reshow the lot from the start at some
point though - two years between seeing series 9 and 10 tended to lose
a few finer plot points!
