NZ Express Sold?

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by KeroseneCowboy, Oct 19, 2005.

  1. I just heard on a usually reliable grapevine that NZ Express is to be
sold to none other than the Lyttelton Port Company. Doesn't that
smack of monopoly? Watch international motorcycle freight prices rise
    now.

  4. Why do you hide behind "Kerosene Cowboy"?

Let us know your real name & address so I can pay you a visit when I'm
    in NZ in November.

Really looking forward to meeting you.

    Kind regards

International freight prices and marine insurance have been rising
signicantly for at least 18 months.

If NZ express were absorbing these costs as well then they're not going to
    be viable.

  10. Yeah, hide behind a false name whilst sniping anonomously at people
    you don't know.
Because I'd like to meet the person behind the anonomous sniping.
    Face to face.

I will be leaving Waitomo at 9am on Thursday 16 Nov and have an
appointment in Hamilton at 10am with some clients who are coming to
the Isle of Man TT with their bikes in 2007. I'll be doing a shipment
ex Auckland and one ex Chch for Kiwis who want to take their bikes to
    the 100th TT Anniversary.
I'm (as my posting signature has always said) Dave Milligan and I run
Get Routed motorcycle shipping services between Melbourne, Sydney &
Brisbane and Christchurch, NZ and Felixstowe in the UK.

I'm not a big tough guy and I'm not interested in any physical
confrontation, but I'm not scared to confront people who have the
courage (not) to snipe from behind the anonimity of a false name.

The sniping I've seen from you in this newsgroup has mostly been child
like stuff with no foundation in fact. Child like stuff because it
appears to me the sniping is just firing shots for the sake of it,
    like a little boy.

Because of the pointless sniping you get no respect around these
    parts.

If I have gained any respect from the aus.moto inhabitants it's
because I've met plenty of them, ridden with some of them, treated
them as friends and accorded them the respect they deserve........ and
because I've provided some of them with free beer. Yeah, that works
when you're looking for respect! Joke Joyce!

I'm a reasonably open person with nothing to hide and can be very
generous; sometimes to my own disadvantage because some like to take
more than they deserve, but that's me. Still trying to make a profit
out this small business and having a helluva lot of fun at the same
    time.

So, if you've got the balls post your real name and address here I'll
pay you a visit. Hopefully I'll discover you're a real human being who
for whatever reason puts up an aggressive facade to hide behind.

    Kind regards
    Dave Milligan

My father in law (to be) has no idea what you are on about, and find's
your diatribe offensive and without relevance to his posts here. You
seem to have some psychotic preoccupation with your own perceived
importance and that of the business you say you operate. Your remark
about visiting a requested address is taken as a threat which may well
be your downfall if you happen to identify my well known future father
in law and in fact visit his business or residential addresses. You
will be well and truly out of your depth old man.

  17. So, who the hell is your father-in-law? and what does he have to do
with this conversation?....and how did you manage to take my post as
    being threatening?

I don't yet know who you are and have no idea about your
    father-in-law.
