O.T. Airline flight special fares

Just received an email telling me that I can fly from Melbourne to Brisbane
for $9.95 with?
you guessed it.....Tiger Air.
So, I started filling things out and then started to see the extras
$15 for check in baggage
$6 for seat allocation
Other $'s for this that or the other
when I got through to the check-out, credit card number section, where there
are differing charges depending on which credit card you use, I found that
the $9.95 special fare, one way, had escalated to $149 one way.
**** that,
I can travel business class with Qantas, Melbourne to Brisbane return for
$149

 

Some Irish comediennes (!) did a skit on exactly this business
practice. As you may be aware 'feck', 'gobshite' and 'bastards' are
not considered swearing in Irish (either!).
