I like and use Azureus, though it uses a fair bit of RAM, not a drama
    if you've got plenty.

    For something slimmer, www.utorrent.com

I use utorrent on Windows... great program! Very light on resources, very
    stable and still full featured.
Azureus is the main alternative but it's rather bloated in comparison.
Anything else you might consider lacks at least a few features compared to
    these two.

For OSX I use Azureus, but I'm hanging out for that promised port of
    Utorrent.

I use utorrent after originally using Azeurus.

For torrents I use www.torrentbox.com (and use the global search)

    Thanks for this stuff peoples.
Trying out Utorrent with a few torrent sites, will see how it goes.
Only prob I have is that Firefoxs downloader program keeps interfering
when I click on a torent to download, It causes an error when Utorrent
tries to open, I have to save the torrent location first then click on
the saved file to get things started. This normal with those using Firefox?

No, not normal... try checking your file associations.

Can OSX use WINE? Utorrent will run on WINE.
