Got a letter from the council about recycling etc.

So, were gonna get *another* bloody wheelybin for garden waste etc.
That's ok for me although I can see it being a problem for folk who
don't have enough room for _3_ wheeliebins.
Anyway, it goes on to say they'll lift the paper bin more often (once
every 2 weeks), I never fill mine in a month and I buy 2 papers a day
and honestly try to put as much paper as possible in it.
All well and good, but, now they say they will only lift the household
grey bin once every *2* weeks instead of weekly!
**** that, how is that gonna work?
I live alone and fill my bin every week, sometimes it is a struggle to
get everything in, and that's non recycleable stuff, mostly.
But what about family households with kids etc, how are they going to
get a fortnights shite into a wheeliebin?
Not to mention in the summer, the things will be fuckin' stinking.
Folk are going to start leaving bags of rubbish around in the street,
it's happening here already with the 10 quid uplift charge.
If it's lying in the street then they have to do someting with it.

It works perfectly well in other parts of the country, and has done for 10
    years.

Stop buying so much shit, and think harder abot what you can recycle.

Exactly, Dan. THere's three adults and a sprog here and the rubbish
wheeliebin is rarely full. Fairly often I don't bother to put it out
    'cos it isn't worth it.

The idea is to encourage you to recycle, John.

Kirkcaldy District Council black bags were excellent, Many a time I had
all my gear in them to go down to Donington or wherever.
Just put all yer stuff in 'em tape it up and bungee it on, sorted.

Or use them to store petrol. Remember the last fuel crisis?

I've just moved from north Newmarket, which is Suffolk (three wheelie
bins) to south-west Newmarket, which is East Cambs (one black bag
per-household and recycling collection per-haps) and I have to say
that the East Cambs' recycling 'system' sucks putrid dead donkey's
    arse.

I could wish for a fresh start.

I know everyone calls them wheelie bins. It just seems so fucking naff
    like baa-lambs or moo-cows.
