How so? Someone who wasn't wearing his helmet fell from his bike and
sustained a head injury. The fact that it happened during a ralley for
another rider who died from head injuries caused by failure to wear
proper protective gear is ironic.

There's a nice quote though:
Noting that Brown was not wearing a helmet when he suffered his
fatal injuries, Schembre said he encouraged all the riders to wear
helmets Sunday.

"It was a hot day, so it wasn't comfortable to wear a helmet, and
there were some people who didn't," he said.
