Quite easy to roll a small car, as I once witnessed. Going over
Ashridge a car three ahead of me was panicked by a deer off to one
side, swerved and just slilghtly clipped the verge. The car then
proceeded to do a one and a half forward roll, ending up on its roof
facing backwards. I'd never have believed it if I hadn't seen it.

I too, have done such a thing.

Rolled a 2CV (quite a feat, I'm told) sliding it sideways at 60mph
into a foot high grass verge 1.5 rolls. Managed to roll it back onto
it's feet by myself and drove the somewhat crumpled remains the
mile back home to explain to mum about the remodelling job her
    car had just undergone.

It's a really odd, experience climbing out of a car on it's side.
Opening the door like a submarine hatch and climbing (blinking)
    up into the sunlight.

It is also quite easy to roll a large car if you are stupid enough. I once
rolled a Mercedes 220 on a mountain road in Eastern Turkey en route to
Iran. To be fair, I didn't actually have a car driving licence at the time
(1975)and my only previous 4-wheeled driving experience consisted of a bit
of tractor driving in farmyards. However, careful application of a red
felt-tip pen to my motorcycle international drivers licence had resulted
in me being qualified to drive just about anything. The rest of the
background circumstances are too long and complicated to describe here.

Basically I had fallen behind the rest of the convoy and was attempting to
catch up. Downhill on a dirt road into a bend that tightened unexpectedly
led to the back end sliding towards the edge of the road and a 200ft drop
into a lake. I really didn't like the look of that so in an attempt to
avoid it I overcorrected and went off the road on the other side. It
rolled over onto the roof and back onto the wheels again. The damage
was surprisingly light. We kicked out the broken windscreen, pulled the
wings away from where they were rubbing against the wheels and carried on...

    Didn't actually roll, but-

Driving like a twat. Goes without saying, naturally. Somehow I managed to very
lightly kiss bumpers with a another pickup truck, which resulted in my Ranger
doing 360s and oscillating like a bastard, ending up with it skidding sideways
and slowing to near walking speed without hitting any other cars. I was
congratulating myself on my narrow escape, when at the last moment before the
truck came to rest, the tires got traction and it very slowly tipped onto the
drivers side. I did my best imitation of a tank commander exiting his disabled
machine by climbing out the passenger side door. I tried to look as nonchalant
as possible, in a Steve McQueen style, before lightly hopping to the ground. I
don't really think anyone driving by was fooled, least of all plod and the
recovery truck driver who were probably pissing themselves.

That happened to my ex-wife <spit> when I rolled my Astravan after
hitting a Muntjac deer. I rolled the van three weeks before the wedding
and she wore a thick foam collar right up to the day before. Pity the
bitch didn't break her neck, our mortgage would have been paid off and
we'd only just bought the house.
