Oh bugger, what have I done...

    It seems I've put a deposit down on a new bike. A brand new bike. A
    brand new Bandit 1200, as it happens. Last one in shop, wants to
    clear it so selling for 5 grand on the road. Oh ****. I've a feeling
    I've been gutted like a fish, but oh boy do I want this. Shame it's
    not black, but it's a very dark blue with sparkly bits in it. Won't
    be picking it up for a wee while, due to financial constraints, but it
    looks like it's going to happen. Help me...

    Sparkly bits? Sure it's not Pearly Novelty black or whatver Suzuki call
    it? If it is then it's a gorgeous colour.

    Either way, colour me very jealous.

    retrospectively deserving? Think of the bike as a sort of, retainer, or
    advance....?

    That's the feller. Looks blue in some lights, but afaik the only
    colour that Suzuki use on Bandits containing little sparkles deep
    within it is PNBlack. 'Tis a lovely colour: that's what the RF is -
    under the layer of (protective) shite.

    According to the Suzuki GB website, it isn't available in PNB at the
    moment, it's either green, blue or silver. I also have some
    colourblindness issues, so wibbleflipdibbledoo where colours are
    concerned. No half fairing, either - proper bike, innit?

    Suzuki decided not to do the 03 bike in black. Hopefully the 04 will
