What the **** is (was) it anyway? Try as I might I just can't remember
any 1979 750cc shaft-drive Suzuki V-twin, let alone one called a
'Black'.

 

It's the engine from the Intruder, but whether they were made that
early, or whether the engine was in something else I'm unsure. I've a
feeling it was in a non-custom but what it was escapes me. What did
Windy have?

I suspect the '79 just refers to the frame. The engine looks like a
VS750.
