Carb icing? In June? Damn you, global wa-*cough* *splutter* oh, sod it...
Mr. B6 was feeling unhappy today and yesterday. I put it down to it filling with water as it escorted me through the buckets of rain we've had.
Thanks for reminding me that's why I hated my GT750's. Nice lovely FI these days for me (although I did like the shaft drive).
In I emptied 2 pints of water from the F650 tank the other day. Seems being outside for the last five weeks with a blocked overflow pipe meant the water got in.
I don't think I ever noticed it on my GT750. That might be because the Motad exhaust gave it an "interesting" power curve...
Never mind that, what's this shite on BBC2 all about. Fucking pat-a-cake nonces. -- | ___ Salad Dodger |/ \ _/_____\_ GL1500SEV/CBR1100XXX/CBX1000Z |_\_____/_| ..89938../..25562.../..31896. I had two GT750's. Both of them wouldn't do anything below 3k rpm when it was cold, and wouldn't idle at all. I tried everything including boxing in the carbs with MDF
No, completely stock. I crashed first one inside 10 weeks from new and begged Daytona at Ruislip to get it written off so I could get another one that wouldn't suffer from the same problem, but it did. Interestingly, they ran the crashed one with some indeterminate throttle, with no oil in the engine, and couldn't get it to blow up (or at least not very easily).
