So, I ordered up a set of tyres and a set of hoses for the Busa from M&P.

Pirelli Diablo Stradas and a set of Hel standard configuration hoses in
    black with black banjos.

Pirellis are still on back order, but Hel are clearly struggling.

After a short delay, I got some hoses. One pair of front hoses, race
configuration, in black with stainless banjos. No rear.

Quick call to M&P; very understanding - they got on to Hel and confirmed
that a correct set would be sent out in a day or so.

2 days later, I get a full set of 3 hoses in standard configuration. In
    stainless with stainless.

Email M&P this time so they have a clear written instruction. They get
back to me; very understanding - they got on to Hel and confirmed that a
correct set would be sent out in a day or so.

2 days later, I get a full set of 3 hoses. Black with extra black. Woo
hoo. But oops, the fronts are in race configuration.

Email M&P again, suggesting that they just send me the singe over-guard
hose to complete the set that arrived today. They get back to me; very
understanding - they got on to Hel and confirmed that a correct set
would be sent out in a day or so.

So I'm expecting either a single hose or set 4, probably on Saturday.
Wonder what'll turn up? Prace bets now.

I've tried the alternative approach for the Beemer; I went into the
local BMW shoppe, talked to the very helpful parts lady and pointed at
the screen until we'd both decided which parts I was after. Hopefully
    that'll be more effective

Well, to date they've been pretty good at keeping me informed with
what's going on and have called/e-mailed back whenever they have said
they would. As Hel are sending the hoses direct and I don't know what
M&P are saying to Hel, I can't really be sure where the fault lies.

B&C Express were also useless at providing HEL hoses for the gixxer.
They couldn't get it right even when I sent them the originals to match.

M+P right roaylly fucked me off when they advertised Daytona Security
Evo boots and only sent me half of them, the cunts. Wasn't the first
time I'd had bad dealings with them, but it was the last time they ever
    got any business from me.

You're not great at snipping, are you?
At the moment there's one set lost in the post that's going to land on
CT's mat. Depending on what turns up, I might have some more to lose.

But not as bad as Busters.

Same firm, as are On2wheels. They used to own MPS as well, but think
    that has been sold off

Oh, well, in that case, they're definitely cunts.

I've not had a problem with Busters - but there again I've only ordered a
    couple of tyres from them.

    Cool.

    <fx:thinks>

You've not posted them yet, have you, as you don't have my address.
And you've not let me know how much you want for them. I'll drop you
    an email.
