    Depends on why you're coming, where you're planning on living and what
    you want to do while you're here. I've changed my lifestyle
    immeasurably. I do a fair bit of sport now, gave up smoking and barely
    drink alcohol (and don't miss it) compared to my London lifestyle. I
    also don't miss my bike too much which I couldn't have imagined before
    coming here. Swings and roundabouts, really.

    There are no road taxes on private cars nor bikes. This was dropped
    shortly after the petrol strikes.
    Heh. Very, very true. Even the health system has got it's problems (as
    seen first hand by my MiL who broke her ankle on Thursday).

    That's probably a slight over exaggeration as there are other countries
    are just as bad. However it is a centralised bureaucracy which creates
    no end of problems and issues, IMO.
