Oh, oh, it's so big

Too big, in fact. It's big and it's black, full of tension and fear and
it's taking up most of the driveway if not my whole life.

No, it's not the Wing, it's the ex-Veggie Dave trailer which I recently
acquired. I was promised that as soon as I got a trailer, every bugger
would be borrowing it. This hasn't happened: everyone except Champ has let
me down. The thing has been sitting outside my house like the Cart of
Darkness, doing sod all except provoking domestic strife. So, it's got to
    go.

Veggie gave it to me free gratis and for nothing, so it's available here for
a limited time at cost price before I'm driven to sling it on ebay. If
Veggie wants it back, he has first refusal.

What's it like? Well, it's got a good, sound angle-iron frame, jockey wheel
etc, and an enormous plywood box body (4'x4'x8') which is a bit frayed at
the edges. And a drop-down tailgate which is solid enough to roll bikes up.
The tyres are dodgy as ****, but they seem to hold air well enough. You'll
need a towhook, a trailer board, and a country estate where it can be put
    out to grass.

So, don't all rush at once...

It is a bit large. Currently it's competing for space with the Wing, the
Ural and the VFR, and soon, a boat. Which is why it's being returned to the
    wild.

  9. Just leave it where it is. Some pikey will hitch his flat-bed Transit up
to it in a day or two and relieve you of it.

I have some marine ply left over from the kitchen which might do the

But where else would you find one that could both be towed by the Wing
and be towed carrying the Wing. If you had 2 Wings think of the fun you
    could have.

    In message
When did you get a Transit? I didn't think there was enough free space
at the chateau and I am sure the Doctor wouldn't like it. :)

Christ no. After pushing the one I have around this afternoon, I'm tempted
    to out the fucker.
