    Arrived at 'the chateau' to find that the final of the French national
    Enduro championship is to be held nearby in September. Probably on the
    same course as the former Gilles Lalay Classique.

    Unfortunately, the weekend is at the start of a three week booking by
    tenants so no opportunity for an enduro fest.

    Oh well, I suppose I can do the Ixion Cadwell track days instead.

    Not unless you can make it down to the 'Bellerive' in Peyrat.

    I could doss in the ancient folding caravan we keep there, but on
    checking the calendar, the logistics of fitting in a trip have
    defeated me anyway.
