I thought I'd wait until pay-day before securing a place with the Steam Racket for next years 100th Anniversary TT. Hmm. They appear to have no sailings available, [1] advanced bookings have already, apparently, filled the boats, although they are supposed to be looking at increasing the volume of sailings to cope with the extra demand. Ho hum. Looks like the fingers will once again be going mad on the phone after 28th February 2007 then. [1] To/from Liverpool. WTF would I want to ride up to bloody Heysham when I've got the facility on my doorstep? -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
The boat is full at Heysham, too. Don't you be taking your bloody mood out on me, young man. Anyway, I bet you I can get the sailing I want to/from Liverpool before then. ?50 do? -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
I booked for four of us a couple of weeks ago. Earliest I could get out was Wednesday of practice week (Heysham) and back to Livrpool on the Monday after the races. Homestay etc. is also filling up rapidly but a mate has got us places near Ballaugh. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Moto Guzzi Mille GT/Squire RS3 Gilera Nordwest | | Gilera GFR Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-----------------------------------------------------------------+
They don't do Liverpool - Dublin any more. Haven't done so at all this year, and have no plans to do so in the future, either. They weren't making enough money, see. -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
CBR600FW. Odd that, I appear to own it already ;o) It's the only bike I've had for the last *cough* years that hasn't been over there. I *might* go over for the MGP, but there are a lot of Scotland trips for, well, trips for one, and Weddings and Christenings and things that are sort of taking up the time and money. Especially as they are all rather far north Scootland. -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
No worries _ I'm going to call them in the morning and book <whatever> they have available. Once people have to pay up, come mid-May you can take up the available places anyway. My best bookings have always been done that way. I'll be camping at Glen Lough again. -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
No idea why I typed May, when it's flipping March the unpaid bookings are available. -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
And, for anyone that is thinking of booking for next year while over on the Island - they may take your money, but the bookings just are not there now. A friend tried to book today, and the only sailings available on anything resembling the TT period were to and from Belfast..here's hoping the Steam Racket do actually put on extra sailings, as mentioned. -- Lesley CBR600FW SBS#11 (with oak-leaf cluster) BOTAFOT#101A UKRMHRC#12 BONY#54P BOB#18 Real burds don't take hormones, they rage naturally
