Has anyone else been spammed by churchill insurance recently?

I've been the recipient of two lots of spam from the bastards and I've
never contacted them for a quote or visited their website for any
reason so they must have harvested my email addy from somewhere.

Not to worry because I've sent them a nice email back asking for a
guarantee that they'll remove my name from their mailing lists and
threatening them with the ASA if they fail to notify me they've done
    so.

I wasn't sure what the ASA thought about spam but a quick check
suggests they're a bit anti when it comes to unsolicited mail whether
it be by post, fax, text or email so I'll wait and see what the
response is from churchill. Obviously I'll still shop them if they
send me something admitting they were in the wrong and I'll shop them
if they don't so I'm going to get up to some mischief no matter what
    happens.

I don't normally bother reporting spammers but when it's a big company
who already piss me off with their idiotic adverts on tv I take a
    different view on it.

.... speaking of which: can someone who's still on it tell me whether I
    am or not?

You're gone. I hope you used the complete removal procedure rather
    than just deleting your account.

Right, I'm off to the gym.

Well, yes; otherwise I wouldn't be completely gone, would I?
    Good effort.
