Fitted my new Ohlins rear shock absorber today and took it out for a
try, and I have to say I'm glad I invested.
Even though my bike is a POS Vstrom 1000, and not a sports bike, by ****
has it made a difference! Waiting for the new fork springs to come
    now...

Bloody good quality gear. Possibly only beaten by a Maxton set up at the
factory for you personally. Did you get the remote pre-load adjuster? every
    bike should have one.

I had my Maxton set up for me by the nice men at Harris, and they didn't
    charge me a penny.

I ride way too fast to worry about cholestorol.

Yeah, it bolts straight on to where the standard one was. (preload
    adjuster)
The bike just does not wallow anymore, no matter the weight, top box
    too.
    Amazing.
