So would I. A bloke from round here cleaned up in Bemsee around that
time on an FJ1100, but he's the only bloke I knew who raced one.

Well might want to ditch the twin criteria then (reads rest of thread -
    looks like you already did).

I owned a ZZR11 before the TRX (has someone googled my bike list I'm
feeling all deja vu ish here) - and yeah somewhat shortarse friendly but
is a fair bit heavier to chuck around. Bloody capable bike though. The
FJ is probably better for shorties (been a bloody long time since I rode
one) but IMNSHO the ZZR is a better bike. If you've opened the door to
4's what about an XJ900 - can't kill 'em with an axe and cheapish for
    older ones.

No need, the sound of your voice alone is sweet sweet music.

You are taking the kids? I thought you wanted a holiday, or is it Chris
    you are leaving behind?

No I haven't actually ditched it, the only proper number of cylinders is
two (other prime numbers are, slightly less, acceptable) but apart from
hideously overpriced "Klassic Kruisers" there isn't that much on the
market which are fitted to an otherwise aesthetically pleasing frame and
    accessories.

I saw a nice B12 today, a lovely bronze colour it was, from standing out
in the Italian sunshine for 10 years. That faded red is a gorgeous
colour I don't know why they don't produce them like that from new.

I could bring the harp too, if you really want, but I'd havre to stick
the kids in the roof box for the journey.

    Oh that is a shame.

Hey ho, I'll look after you. See you don't get led astray and stuff.
    No worries.

Having just listened to the Northern Birds lyrics do I detect a touch of
    sarcasm in your tone?
No, it's our family holiday for the year, so AFAIK Chris and the kids are
coming too. It's the EOSM that I want to do without the kids.

However, I've had a call from an agency this morning and it looks like
there's a short term (4 week) contract available for Chris so he may have
to work afterall while we're in Cornwall.
