  1. Remember that blue Z400 on ebay with the dud charging system?

    <wince>

So matey the vendor, possessed of all 20 feedback, leaves a snappy but
positive comment for a non-buyer - who responds 20 minutes later (like
he was waiting for it) with a repudiation that's a nasty negative.
    Ouchie.

Of course, sellers aren't allowed to neg bad buyers now, are they?
We'll see more of this sort of thing, then.

Bit of a farce really isn't it. I think sellers should still be allowed
to neg buyers, but *only* if either the seller leaves feedback first[1]
to stop retaliatories[2], or if they've filed an NPB.

[1] A three day window where only the seller can leave feedback should
stop buyers jumping in with a neg to block the seller leaving one.
[2] Like my one & only neg.

  5. The seller is an arse, though. Frankly, if he tries to sell it again
with a dud charging system I hope he gets his time wasted all over again
    and gets another neg.

As GC says down there, somewhere, the problem here is that the bike
has a duff charging system, and the seller has been told it's duff,
and has carefully avoided mentioning it, and dodged the issue when
posters from this ng have innocently asked about it.

This actually smacks of a seller who's made a bit of a boo-boo but
done th decent thing by offering to pay listing and FV fees, and a
seller who's got his come-uppance. Anyone got an anonymous email
account to sell the would-be buyer a link to this thread, so he can
see what a lucky man he's been?

In case eBay class it as 'auction interference' or summat.
