Oil pressure / temperature gauge on Gold Wing

    Anybody know if there is a relatively not-too-difficult way to install an
    oil pressure and/or temperature gauge on a 1989 Gold Wing 1500?

    For oil temps, you might be able to use a combination thermometer
    and dipstick. I made one up using a foot long deep fryer thermometer,
    a little bit of epoxy putty and the remains of a baja specialties
    dipstick plug.

    The thermometer cost $10 and runs past 300F which is a little bit high
    but still usable. It changes very, very little after the engine warms
    up
    but it's useful for telling you when you warmed the bike up enough
    to start tuning.
