I was gunna ask for one of them "poofter" drinks, but thought I'd
prefer a wine. Never got to liking beer.

What; are you trying to tell me that a 20yo K75C with 250,000km on the clock
    isn't cutting-edge?!!?

I just purchased a 30 year old, BMW R100RS, it was way ahead of its time in
1978, and the first true superbike.

Wanna define superbike so that a BMW makes it and a 900SS, Le Mans
    Mk1, or a Z900 don't?

Naah. For a red I'd go with Leffe Radieuse.

Pff the only red is Cassegrain's Chambourcin. Anything else tastes like
it should be in a cask [1]

[1] The most expensive red I've drunk is $50/bottle. Chambourcin is
about 20 (Port Mac is near Cassegrain's) but far better than anything
    I've tried.

OK, I'll give that a go next week.
Casks of wine can be a good thing... especially if you drink from half
    pint glasses.
Should be passing their door about 3.00 pm Monday.

Don't suppose Port Mac has got itself a boutique brewery since I was
last there mumble mumble years ago.

Look Johno, I ride two yamahas and barrack (quietly!) for the 'pies.

If it wasn't for the copious quantities of Coopers you keep offering,
    I'd ignore you. :)

  11. How can I exist? Drink Coopers but ride a Yamaha - it is seriously ugly
but keeps going, and is quite comfortable...

Funny, I drink Coopers and ride a Yamaha[1] too. Could there be some
    kind of connection between us?

It removed itself. Along with the numberplate and numberplate light.

    Somewhere on the Prince's Hwy.

Don't see the problem to be honest ! I assume you've got a new plate
from RTA, bolt bracket with number plate holder and light to subframe
using rubber mounts and loctite so it doesn't vibrate off again .

Get appropriate bracket from one of the street fighter mobs (or from
the wreckers at silverwater if you wanna be cheap :)

And be pinged by appropriately bastard cop for not being road legal.

You see the tank is the original XT alloy tank. The seat is normal
seat length. The trick is getting a *legal* method of covering the
appropriate part of the rear tyre that doesn't look like shit.

If you just put the plate from the subframe, then you are several
    inches short of being legal.

And it is loud enough and "look at me" enough for that to matter.

    Zebee
    - who, oddly enough, has already looked into possible solutions.

  19. I ride a Yamaha. My last encounter with Coopers was in 1993/4, and left
me very much the worse for wear for the next 24 hours.

One day I'll pluck up the courage to taste it again.
