.... Thanks. That's enough rain now, thanks. (God reads UKRM, right?)
That's enough rain now, thanks. Considering it's rained every single day in Stoke-on-Trent since July 11th (46 days - and I've been counting), Tittersworth Reservoir is still almost empty. I wonder what would have happened if it had been a dry summer.
Can you make it dry and hot for the duration of my Malta trip please -- Lozzo Versys 650 Tourer, CBR600F-W racebike in the making, TS250C, RD400F (somewhere) BMW E46 318iSE (it's a car, not one of those 2-wheeled pieces of shite they churn out)

Heh, I was just thinking that there seems to be a "Met Office Weather Warning" every second day at the moment and wondered if it was "nanny-state Britain". I take it things are pretty grim, then?

It had crossed my mind too. When I were a lad we could have right proper storms with nary a warning. Nowadays, more then half an inch of rain[1] and we get a severe weather warning. I've seen worse. [1] This may be a slight exageration.
