The only reason it's worth spending the vast amount of money required
for something like the tower is that they can unhook it and move it
when that field is no longer viable. The tie-ins aren't technically
difficult and the weather conditions are usually pretty good out there
compared to the North Sea or Sakhalin so the operators don't really
    gaf.

Hmm when I started working as a BMW Tech one was expected to use
snap-on and a starter kit was supplied, which encouraged ongoing set
building. Mainly it was the van coming to the garage and the endless
interest free credit, which somewhat offset the extra cost.

OK *now* it's just pretentious! although I've had tools from a few so
called reputable brands in the past, which have disappointed me. For
wrenches, socket sets, pliers and screwdrivers I'll stick to the
    brand.

I have only ever lost one snap-on item, an 6mm spanner. I've never
worked on a rig, so haven't had Bonners opportunities. Oh no, mine was
left in the Bear Nest in Swindon. I wrote him, called him and emailed
him a least a thousand times but the Bastard just kept it ;o)~

By **** that was fast acting bait!!
No sweat, if I ever drop by we can have a rummage party! It was
needed for something or other on the Gixxer and I carried it, I think
we used it on your R1, I've *never* needed it since.
There are also sockets in my small and large rails that I have never
    used, in decades.
