I admit it.. I rounded off the bolt on the pad retaining pin on my
cbr 1000fs rear caliper. I was in a rush to change the pads for the
MOT and used an open ended spanner !!! grrrr... stupid or what :(

Today I have just spent a couple of hours with drill/ extractors /
angle grinder/ hammer / chisel / blowtorch.. you name it I tried it,
but it's stuck. Still fortune favours the stupid in this case, I
actually found a replacement caliper on ebay for reasonable money !
Now then, I must remember that they only need to be tweeked beyond
finger tight when I get this one !!

The other bike needs the MOT doing but I think it'll pass. I guess
the insurance is void with out it though. I've had it with bike
maintenance for today.. off out on the MTB to enjoy the sunshine !

Particularly when you can buy these things.

They've never rounded a bolt head off when I've used them. And that'd be
    lots of times.
And the application of a little "anti-seize" compound will ensure it never
    sticks again.
