Long distance riding heats up tyres and burns them out, I used up a BT45 on
the back of my K1100LT in 6,000 on one trip worn in the centre and useless
    after I got back.

That's what you get for having all those big Japanese horses instead
of just a few smaller Italian ones.

What's the HP and weight of an FJ13? The Norge is theoretically 95HP
(at someone else's crank I suspect, ain't happening at mine!) and 245kg.

Gets along well enough if you figure "getting people and luggage up to
licence losing territory quickly is enough, doesn't matter how far
into licence losing territory you get."

  6. Approximately 140 HP, and 275 kg.

Spends it's life hauling 110 kg of pilot, and 130 kg of pillion, plus
pulling 500 litre trailer. Averages around 20,000 km per year.

Tends to sit on around the 100-120 kph. Has occasionally seen higher
    (180 mark).

Running 36 psi up front, and 42 at the rear.

Averages 14 km per litre. Normally gets 20 km per litre when solo and no
    trailer.

The BMW K100 was a little lighter, and a lot less power (95 HP), and
still didn't manage to get much better tyre wear. Back then, there
wasn't much pillioning either - or towing.

Male emus are not very smart. Boy emu meets girl emu. Girl emu blinks eyes
at him. They have it off. Girl says 'hang about and see the eggs'. She lay
eggs and says "Can you keep an eye on these babies for a few minutes while I
duck behind a bush". He never sees her again, and gets to look after the
    chicks for 18 months.
