Old Pac Hwy - legality of conflicting Speed Limit and Speed Advisorysigns ?

It's self preservation on the RTA's part. The signs say the max speed
it's safe for *all* motorists - including ones that should not have a
    licence.

Basically the speed is set ridiculously low, so that there's a 0% chance
of an accident that's not driver error, even in a b-double or whatever.
Therefore the RTA has no liability.

Why would the RTA have any liability? If they wanted to reduce
liability they'd remove advisory signs. The limits are set with the
lowest common denominator in mind, which doesn't just include road
users, but also other variables like weather conditions. Just because
you don't understand it doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.

Fortunately they don't extend much more than 100 meters from his
    driveway....

Did anyone actually witness him travelling there? I reckon he was driven
there in a bus and then rolled into the campground from just outside.

Oh there was heated discussion about getting the cameras out or helping
    you out instead.
Helping you out won by a bees dick.

That was zippy who heard you going down but was debating whether to get
out of the sleeping bag or to continue sleeping in.
He reckons he had a chuckle instead.
