on old tyres...

    I wasn't sure if Nev was arguing with the principle (1), or the
    distance. 100 ks is often quoted, but I've always thought considerably
    less.

    Pfft! Stop being such a nancy! My CT90 was equipped with 40-year-old
    tyres when I bought it, and they're STILL in excellent condition!

    (Mainly becuase they're hanging up on the shed wall, as I didn't feel
    like using knobby tyres on bitumen).
