On reflection...

Today was probably not the best day to get halfway through replacing a
window.

I hope gaffa tape and cotton sheet is resistant to snow.

 

Oh no, yesterday was the day I removed an old window and then fucked
around trying to fit the new one. I didn't fancy leaving an unsecured
window in the opening and the lower pane of glass didn't come out so I
couldn't fix the window in the opening at the bottom as well as the top
with rawlplugs.

It's now sat in the opening and just needs sealing with expanding foam
and what-not.

 

I wouldn't have bothered with the cotton sheet, myself. It's well known
that gaffa tape repairs anything and is proof against anything, except
possibly an assault by a ukrm angle grinder.

Well the tape removed the paint from the wall when I took it off this
morning. It did the job well enough.
